Volkert, Inc. is hiring for our Tampa office. We are looking for a motivated, "self-starter" to join our Transportation Group. Candidate should be proficient in FDOT drainage and roadway design. This position offers technical challenges and management opportunities.

General qualifications include:

• BSCE degree
• Florida PE license
• 10-15 years of FDOT experience
• Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills
• Professional demeanor

  Desired technical experience:

• Design and plans production
• Hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, including hydraulic design studies
• Permitting
• Pavement design
• Maintenance of traffic
• Microstation and GEOPAK
• Hydrologic and hydraulic software (ASAD, AdICPR, HEC-RAS, GEOPAK DRAINAGE, etc.)
